Here are the simple rules:
- Use the Muse card as inspiration, explain your interpretation and link back to Muse.
- Provide supportive comments to at least 3 of your fellow members' submissions.
- Vote for one of your fellow member's submissions that you find inspiring. Voting is open to everyone, is anonymous and private. Click on the star below the thumbnail of your selection. You're only allowed one vote. Once you vote the star and option to vote will not be visible. Don't worry your vote has gone through, just privately. Voting for this challenge will close on Sunday, January 27 at 12 noon EST.
You're free to draw your inspiration from any of the elements of the Muse's card. For example, design/layout, color combination, pattern, texture, image, style, embellishment and technique.
Here's the inspiration we were given to work from by the very first Muse Amy Kolling (way to go Amy!):
Amy's card is gorgeous, it's a clean and simple card with soft touches like the stitched die impression and the little pearls. What really struck me was the "white space" in her card. My interpretation of Amy's card borrowed the white space idea (only my "white space" is blue!) and her simple, clean, uncluttered sketch. Here's my take:
This is a great new blog and I can tell I'll be back to play again and again...Now I'm off to check out all the other players' interpretations!
