Mojo Monday 275

I haven't had a chance to play a Mojo Monday sketch in a while and I had the day off today so it was first on my list of things to do. And that meant nothing else got done today - once you start pulling out all the "play things" and getting all kinds of ideas time kinda gets away from you right?

So I started off with the sketch for this week's Mojo Monday challenge:

I looked over the design team's awesome inspiration and loved how Stephanie Kraft flipped the sketch for her card so I borrowed that idea from her and then started rooting through my Verve stamps. I pulled these two sets:

 

 

and made my Valentine's Day card:

 

I used the flourish outline from Sweet Treats but masked off the swirly parts so that I'd have a design that would fit into a square. Then I added a few extra hearts using the tiny outline heart stamp from Hearts on Fire.

I used the filigree heart in the centre of the oval and then stamped the sentiment from the Hearts on Fire set. I like the non-traditional colours for a Valentine's Day card and am really happy with how soft and pretty it turned out!
