Glitter!

As promised in my first post today, this one is all about glitter! Day 9 of class taught us about texture in CAS cards and one of the techniques shared was incorporating glitter as a texture. Yahoo! I love a little sparkle. I think I may have mentioned this before, but I feel like the older I get the more I like some sparkle, a little bling and a splash of glitter. *Ü*

Julie Ebersole showed us in an earlier class how to use microfine glitter and double-sided tape to add glitter to a card. You actually burnish the glitter into the tape so it doesn't come off. Awesome! While you still wind up with glitter up your nose and in your teeth and ears while making the card, the person receiving it won't wind up wearing it when they open the card! Hahaha...

One more day to go of class and I'm really going to miss it! It has been SO much fun learning new techniques and all the tips the girls share...
